UNICEF project. “Together. Meeting points”
Our school became the first in Cherkasy to implement the international UNICEF project “Together. Meeting Points” project is implemented by the NGO “Kharkiv Professional Development Foundation” with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). It aims to support adolescents and their families who have been forced to flee their homes due to the war.
Within the framework of the project, a point has been created in our school for migrants, where teenagers and their families will be able to receive basic humanitarian aid, socio-emotional support, access to individual and group psychological consultations, optional classes in the school curriculum. During the solemn meeting, the project participants were greeted by Deputy Mayor Anastasia Chubina and Director of the Department of Education and Humanitarian Policy Bohdan Bielov and project coordinators. Children and their parents took part in an entertaining and educational program conducted by talented animators. We invite everyone to join the project!
