#stayathome # interacting For the International Day against Bullying.

Every year on May 4, the Day of Combating Harassment is held. This day was first celebrated on May 4, 2012. This year, the International Anti-Bullying Day became international for the second time. The United Nations has recognized an epidemic of bullying in schools. According to UNICEF, almost 70% of children worldwide suffer from peer bullying. At the same time, Ukraine is among the 10 European countries with the highest level of bullying.

We hope that our students, teachers and parents are able to maintain healthy relationships, are unlikely to bully others, but rather will support students who are the object of bullying. And remember, promoting healthy relationships is the key to preventing bullying and creating a safe and friendly atmosphere at school.

The social network Instagram has released 4 episodes of the documentary series Un-filtered (“No Filters”) about the fight against bullying. The series was shot in a vertical format and built into the Instagram platform – IGTV. The project was directed by American actor, producer and screenwriter John Gill. The director also talked to the perpetrators.

UNICEF has created a video tutorial for parents on how to identify signs of bullying and help a child who has become a victim. The video is available at: https://www.facebook.com/watch/UNICEFUkraine/.
