Countering Discrimination
In modern conditions, every teacher should be able to protect the child from discrimination. In the spring of this year, the school became a participant of the All-Ukrainian project My World without Discrimination, which introduced the Academy of Innovation Education Development with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. Within the framework of the project, a training on “Countering Discrimination” was held in Kyiv, where was the Deputy Director of the School of Educational Work Parnachova N.V. During the course of the event during the day with the participants of the training in the format of discussions, work in groups and discussion of video materials the participants were introduced to the best practices of prevention and counteraction of discrimination and the possibilities of their adaptation to the Ukrainian context; With an anti-discrimination law system in Ukraine, with international and national standards in the field of prevention and counteraction of discrimination, general principles of constructing non-discrimination policies.
The problem of discrimination is acutely worldwide, Ukraine is no exception, so thanks to the project, the school community will learn how to identify and overcome its manifestations.
