PARTICIPATION IN PROJECTS

All-Ukrainian Democratic Citizenship Education Program “Democratic School” The school is a participant of one of the largest international projects in the sphere of secondary education in Ukraine, the three-year All-Ukrainian Democratic School EDC program supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the European Center Vergeland.

School of Energy 2.0. After the successful implementation of the School of Energy project, the project “School of Energy 2.0″ was launched at the end of 2016. The project “School of Energy 2.0″ is being implemented by the Association “Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine” with the support of the project “Creation of Energy Agencies in Ukraine”, implemented by the German Society for the International Cooperation of GMWH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Construction and Safety of German Nuclear Reactors.

All-Ukrainian project “Development of social cohesion of subjects of the educational process” In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of August 05, 2016, No. 951 “On the establishment of a working group and approval of a plan of activities of the working group on the development of social cohesion of subjects of the educational process” in Ukraine, from September 2016, the All-Ukrainian project “Development of Social Cohesion subjects of the educational process “. The school is an active participant of this project.

Sustainable development The school actively implements the idea of ​​sustainable development and has its own system, which consists of several areas of work simultaneously, in particular: the teaching of a course of choice in “Lessons for Sustainable Development”, extra-curricular work on the formation of a lean and environmentally friendly, participation and initiation of shares within the school and the city as a whole, the monitoring of the ecological footprint. Since November last year, with the financial support of the Government of the French Republic, FASEP program launched the first pilot project in Ukraine on the comprehensive optimization of waste recycling and recycling system in the city of Cherkasy. Sustainable Development Project “Sort Garbage in the Family, Help to Develop Ukraine” launched by BETEN Engineering”. Students took part in the Workshop of Sustainable Development. Until September 1, BETEN Engineering will provide the school with compost that will compress and recycle organic fertilizer waste for the recycling of organic waste. We also receive containers for separate collection of garbage.

VICTORIES OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS

Infomatrix – 2017 In the international competition “Infomatrix – 2017″ 572 students from 45 countries of the world participated. Ukraine was represented by seven participants. 8A class student Anna Inozemets took the final of the contest “Mom – Not Just a Word” in the nomination “Computer Art” and for the second time became the owner of the bronze medal of the international competition.

All-Ukrainian stage of competition for the protection of scientific research works of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine student of 10-B class Iryna Vovk won honorary third place. In the department “Ecology and agrarian sciences”, section “Agronomy” Iryna defended the work “Morphological and environmental factors of the formation of high quality seeds in hybrids of maize” (scientific advisors candidate of biological sciences, associate professor of the Department of Ecology and Agro biology of Bohdan Khmelnitsky Chernivtsi National University, Deriy S.I.), teacher of biology and ecology Dovgal L.V.).

II stage of All-Ukrainian Olympiads on basic disciplines In this school year, the school has 24 prize-winning places: the first – 4, the second – 5 and 15 third. In the ranking among schools in the city – from French, the school ranked first in biology and economics – the fourth, information technology – sixth, physics and ecology – the eighth, from the right – the tenth.

The “Intelligence of the Year” prize from V. Zubyk For the fifth consecutive year, pupils and teachers of the school are participants of the “Intelligence of the Year” project, which was founded by People’s Deputy Zubyk V.V. This year students of the school again became scholars of V. Zubyk: Anna Inozemets, Iryna Vovk, Natalia Kolomiiets, Vyshomirska Anastasia. Teachers, Dovgal L.V., Budavitska S.V., Draka O.V., who prepared them became nominees of the prize.

New School Reward Due to the democratic transformations of society and democratic transformations in school, the school community initiated the awarding of the “Pride of the School” award to students for special achievements.

Mental arithmetic This year, elementary students began to study the Soroban system. The technique trains the speed of perception and processing of information, develops both hemispheres of the brain at the same time due to the imaginary visualization of calculations on the abacus.

SPORT GIFTS

Silver checkers The members of the circle of checkers Olexandr Karpovych and Liudmyla Starodub together won the second place in the city tournament. Olexandr became the strongest among the boys and was awarded the first degree diploma.

OVERHAUL

Floor repairs Through the electron system of public procurement of Pro-Zorro, 349 thousand 998 hryvnias were allocated for major floor and floor repairs. Repair work is carried out by PE “UKRBUD-center plus” (director Slabenko K.P.).

Replacement of windows on the facade of the school Our school is a participant of the measures on thermo-modernization, which is held by the city executive committee. The city authorities have allocated more than 1 million hryvnias from the budget for the conducted work. The glass units are installed in the study rooms, the assembly hall and the library.

Repair of the sports hall The Department of Architecture and Urban Development completes repair work in the gym. At this stage, the walls, ceiling, ventilation system, and floor have already been repaired. At the stage of completion are lockers with replacement of the doors, windows on the metal-plastic and linoleum on the floor.
