It has been a project week “School ENERGY 2.0″, and we can already draw the first conclusions.

Project days showed that schoolchildren learn hard to live in eco-style. Presented student projects “Prudent owner”, “Change the old for new” showed that all school is interested in sustainable development. Most families engaged in sorting waste, saving water and energy.

Since December 2016, energy team of Cherkasy specialized school №3, under the “Energy School 2.0″, conducted daily monitoring power consumption, heat, hot water and temperature conditions of classrooms. Shows all counters recorded to a special Journal consumption.

To work in the project the online software UMUNI Operating System began with the registration of the building and entering basic information about the building.

Adding data consumption occurs at intervals of 1 per day. The team captain brings performance Energy consumption the Journal of energy consumption in a computer program.

Such monitoring data provides a constant opportunity to follow the progress of energy consumption in buildings. And if necessary, we have the opportunity to timely inform the school management in identifying excessive power consumption.

Also school energy team analyzes the consumption in all types of energy resources and cold water compared to the previous week, and later to the same period last year.

So analyzing thermal energy consumption over the previous three years in the period from December to April, up from the current turned out that

from 01/12/2013 to 01/04/2014 was consumed 464.97Hkal

from 1.12. 2014 to 04/01/2015 was consumed 426.18Hkal

from 1.12. 2015 on 04/01/2016 was consumed 422.13Hkal

from 1.12. 2016 to 04/01/2017 was consumed 384.35Hkal

These data show that the heat consumption is decreasing every year. This is due to a number of measures thermo school buildings, replacement of windows and doors, the placement of screens for radiators.

These include installation engineers, replacement of doors and replacement of old windows to double glazing. Reduce the rate of thermal energy may in the future by replacing all windows and facade insulation schools.

The results of the monitoring project “School Energy 2.0″ are ahead. Energy team is ready for the finish line.
