Every year, school students and their mentors try to go forward, search and explore, make their own discoveries and contribute to the development of science. All-Ukrainian contest-defence of research works of students – members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is one of the leading events of the Academy of Sciences. The competition is held for the purpose of spiritual, creative, and intellectual development of the country’s children, their upbringing in the spirit of patriotism and democratic values, and the creation of conditions for the formation of the nation’s intellectual potential.
The main tasks of the competition are to identify and support gifted children, to attract intellectually and creatively gifted student youth to scientific research and experimental work, to form an active civic position of students, to educate them in independence, perseverance, the ability to form and defend their own opinion.
The students of our institution worked hard and prepared research papers, and as a result, in the Department of Economics, Finance, Banking and Insurance section, with the work “Insurance in the Modern World”, 10-A grade student Artiom Karbivnychyi won first place with 96 out of 100 points, scientific supervisor Zasiadko L.V.
