International Thank You Day

Every year on January 11, the world celebrates a wonderful holiday – the International Thank You Day. Sincere gratitude always evokes positive emotions and warm feelings, it is important to remember that true gratitude is only the one that comes from a pure heart. Everyone perfectly understands the importance of good manners, their necessity in everyday life, but most often we express gratitude as if in passing, without thinking about its meaning. Meanwhile, words of thanks have amazing properties, but they cannot be uttered when a person is in an irritated state. Psychologists believe that words of gratitude are signs of attention, they are verbal “stroking” and can warm with their warmth.
Pupils of our institution participated in events for the International Thank You Day. They thanked everyone who was there, and especially our brave soldiers – defenders. Children made postcards “Thank you in different languages of the world”, “My sincere thanks”, “Words of gratitude”. Schoolchildren watched presentations about the origin of the holiday, discussed the topic “Is Thank you the greatest word?”
On the International “Thank You” Day, we wish everyone not to be stingy with their courtesy and gratitude, not to forget the simple and important “Thank you”, to be attentive to each other, to try to help in word and deed! Appreciate people who are sincere with you!
