Masters of word
Our readers again managed to conquer the art Olympus. Illia Oparin and Denys Natura (artistic director Korkishko I.O.) won first place in the “How Many weighs word” city contest reciting the works of Ivan Franko “Seek beauty, look for good!”. The boys presented at the discretion of the jury poem of famous Ukrainian writer “Contemporary saying.” Illia and Denys impressed viewers with high acting and flawless execution of the work. The competition was held to mark the 160th anniversary of the birth and the 100th anniversary of the death of Ivan Franko at the Regional Library for Youth of Vasyl Symonenko. Statements students evaluated the jury, which included teachers of Ukrainian language and literature, Cherkasy writers and librarians.
The school, school parliament, Academic Council, Children’s Association “Land of Adventure”, students and teachers sincerely welcome Oparin Illia, Denys Natura and their artistic director Ihor Oleksiiovych Korkishko on the victory and wish further success in the artistic and aesthetic contests.
