Carpathian Notes

In one of the picturesque places of Ukraine, 7-B and 7-V grades students took an exciting journey. Schoolchildren together with class leaders O.I. Klymenko and Solomka O.M. visited the city of Mizhhirya, on the shore of Lake Synevyr. In Pylypets settlement one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Ukraine – the Shypit waterfall, which throws water between the rocks in a flourishing mountain valley at a height of 15 meters, was seen in their eyes. The Pylypets River, on which the waterfall is located, originates from a large underground source located on one of the most beautiful places in the Ukrainian Carpathians – the Borzhava valley. The students had a wonderful opportunity to relax from civilization and gain new vitality. Schoolchildren admired mountain landscapes and pure crystal water in which the noble trout has long been used. An unforgettable experience left the excursion to Lake Synevyr, which was formed about 10,000 years ago. The pupils’ attention was drawn to the rehabilitation center of a brown bear in which animals were abused and captive. The main purpose of the center is to recreate the brown bear population.
The students were well rested and saw the real pearls of the Ukrainian natural environment.
