And again about the gym
The repair work of the school gym goes to the completion. In May, funds were allocated from the local budget and repair works started. The contractor of the Department of Architecture, Urban Development and Inspection of Cherkasy City Council coordinates the work. At this stage, the walls of the school, the ceiling, the ventilation system, and the floor have already been repaired in the gym. At the stage of completion – locker rooms with replacement of doors, windows on metal-plastic and linoleum on the floor. Unfortunately, there is no money for sports equipment. We appeal to all those who are not indifferent, who can help in the acquisition of equipment for a gym.
Note: In 2009, the city SES issued an act about the closure of the gym because of technical danger for physical education classes. So for 8 years children did not have a chance to do in a gym. After legal proceedings with the contractor of the PP “Dnipro-monolith”, the work in progress was handed over to PE “UKRBUDTSENTR” (director of the Slabenko K.P.), which complete the repair work.
