Energy audit of school started!
A meeting of energy team with the technical advisor of the “School of energy” Vladyslav Moskalenko was held. He held introductory lesson-workshop “Climate change and energy efficiency.” In a democracy, interactive form first meeting of students of energy team actualized information about the effects of consumption of exhaustible sources of energy for the Earth and all its inhabitants alone. The second part of the workshop was associated with becoming familiar with the tools of energy in school. Managing energy manager for the school team brought “suitcase for young energy auditors.” The suitcase contains instruments to implement energy audit of school: pyrometer, anemometer, udometer thermometer with probe energy meter. After instructing all students of energy team united in groups and had all the necessary measurements, learning to use all the tools.
During the first meeting energy team of school examined five classrooms, heating unit, study computer science.
Starting the meeting was extremely productive; team is inspired to action for the implementation of practical energy audit.
