Europe Day in digital format
Every year on the third Saturday of May, Ukraine celebrates Europe Day. This is a special day for Ukrainians, because Ukraine and the EU are united by common values, history and culture. This year, for the first time in the years of the holiday, due to the corona virus, the celebration at our school took place online. During the week, school students and members of the school Euro club “Commonwealth” actively participated in the online competitions “Creative Protective Mask”, “Cherkasy Eurovision 2020 – Home Concert”, “Cherkasy is my European city”. Studets liked the drawing contest about our hometown the most. Many young artists sent their works and depicted the beauty of the sights of Cherkasy. The school family took part in the All-Ukrainian quiz about the EU, organized by EuroQuiz. And high school students had a unique opportunity to take part in the EU Online Career Days, which took place in Sumy, Zhytomyr, Kropyvnytskyi and Chernihiv, where they learned a lot of interesting things, as well as received useful information about learning opportunities in Europe.
