Student Self-Government Day
School years are wonderful… Each of us will remember them for the rest of our lives. Some will have only pleasant memories, some not so much. But there is something that will definitely be etched in the memory of all students – it is Student Self-Government Day. For one day, big changes took place at school – a new teaching staff took up work, conducting lessons in grades 1-10 in various subjects. And in order for the educational process to take place in a normal mode, thorough preparation was required. In advance, the “future teachers” familiarized themselves with the topics of the lessons that corresponded to the calendar-thematic planning, independently compiled summaries, and selected interesting material. So, the “understudy teachers” showed extraordinary perseverance and diligence in preparing for Student Self-Government Day.
While performing their duties, the students felt how responsible and difficult the work of a teacher is, because it requires substantial knowledge of their subject, love and patience for children, and constant self-development. Student Self-Government Day is a good school for every student, which brings unforgettable impressions and life experience.
A number of planned fun activities were cancelled, because April 25 was declared a day of mourning for the victims of Russia’s massive combined attack on Kyiv.
